Lori Moore

Lori was born in Michigan and moved to Texas when she was fourteen. She came to Oregon eighteen years ago with her husband, Paul. They built their home on Weston Mountain where they raised their three children: Rachelle, Sheldon and Patricia, all of whom Lori home schooled. The kids are grown now and pursuing their own careers, but Lori keeps herself very busy with their wonderful variety of animals. They have three dogs, four cats, two turtles, five horses and 30 chickens (give or take a few).

Lori 2Her primary interests are veterinary medicine and animals, in general, but certainly horses in particular. Indeed, she is quite passionate about horses and has been riding and training them most of her life. Her horse handling experience is extensive. Her specific veterinary interests include exotics, anesthesia and emergency work.

Lori is currently on the board of the Milton-Freewater Humane Society. She participates in management of the rescue group, caretaking at the shelter, and fosters the occasional kitty waiting to be adopted.

Lori has been with Kennedy Veterinary Services since 2002. Her genuine compassion for creatures of all types is limitless, and her bubbly personality and infectious laughter make her not only an asset to our practice, but a true pleasure to work with.
