Brenda Guzman

Brenda2Brenda was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Oregon fourteen years ago.

She and her husband, Jimmy, with their Heeler/Aussie cross, Pee Weeto Archibald (Bart when he's naughty), live in one of the oldest victorian houses in Milton-Freewater. Brenda has been gradually restoring it to its original, elegant style since she bought it in 1996. She considers it her dream house but also something of a curse given the gargantuan amounts of effort that have gone into its renovation. Everyone who has seen their progress believes that Brenda and Jimmy are doing a fabulous job.

Bart doesn't help much.

Brenda's veterinary special interests include dentistry, radiography and pharmacy. She also enjoys yoga and sewing. She spent fourteen years as a licensed falconer and has worked with Blue Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation Center assisting in the rescue of injured wildlife. Over the years she has kept and rescued many species of birds. She has also had various frogs, snakes, dogs, rabbits, mice, fish and one pygmy goat.

Brenda has been with Kennedy Veterinary Services since 2002. Possessing a diverse set of skills that range from sewing drapes to bird handling, she has been a very valuable member of our team. Brenda exhibits a dependability that evokes confidence.
